01. How does Warp act as the central hub for my data?

Warp is your single source of truth for all company and employee data. Instead of manually updating multiple systems, you manage everything in Warp, and we automatically push updates to your accounting software, SSO providers, 401(k) platforms, and more. This ensures data consistency and eliminates duplicate entry.

02. What data does Warp sync to my accounting software?

After each payroll run, Warp automatically creates journal entries in your accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage Intacct) with detailed breakdowns of wages, taxes, benefits, and employer costs. You can map expenses by department, location, or custom dimensions for granular reporting.

03. Do I need to manually update employee records in multiple places?

No. When you add, update, or offboard an employee in Warp, those changes automatically propagate to your connected integrations. For example, new hires can be auto-provisioned in Okta, retirement contributions sync to Human Interest, and employee data flows to your background check provider.

04. Can Warp integrate with my existing tech stack?

Yes. Warp integrates with the tools ambitious companies already use: accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct), SSO providers (Okta), communication tools (Slack), 401(k) platforms (Human Interest, Accrue), insurance providers (Next Insurance), and background check services (Checkr). We're constantly adding new integrations.

05. How long does it take to set up an integration?

Most integrations take less than 5 minutes to connect. You'll authenticate with your existing account, configure your preferences (like mapping accounts or selecting notification channels), and the sync happens automatically from there. Our support team is available if you need help.

06. Is my data secure when syncing between systems?

Absolutely. All data transfers are encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 authentication, and we're SOC 2 Type II compliant. We only sync the minimum data required for each integration to function, and you have full control over what connects to Warp.

07. What happens if an integration goes down or fails?

Warp monitors all integrations in real-time. If a sync fails, we'll retry automatically and notify you via Slack or email. You can always view sync status and history in your dashboard. Since Warp remains your source of truth, your data is never lost. You can manually export or re-sync once the issue is resolved.

08. Can I request a new integration?

Yes! We prioritize integrations based on customer demand. If there's a tool you use that we don't currently support, reach out to us at team@warp.com and we'll add it to our roadmap.
